Increase your Web Site Traffic Tip #9

One thing I have found over the years about marketing your business is the way in which you do it makes all the difference.

If you come right out and say click here or new blog post or something too obvious you will not get the click.

What works for me is offering value and then giving the URL so people can click to continue getting that value. Example: If you want people to click on your new blog post about motivation tips, your sentence can be:

“Are you wondering why one person seems to have all the motivation in the world and you have, little to none?” Then give the URL. The curiosity alone will get the click. I know I have tested this over and over.

Another example:

You want people to click on your article about Positive thinking. A great line would be, “Does it sound simple? The power of positive thinking? Is it something you wish just came naturally? Anyone who is interested in how to get into the power of positive thinking is sure to click over to your site.

The next time you want people to click over to your site from your newsletter or twitter or face book try it out and you will see what I’m talking about.
