Have a plan. Get a clear vision of what you want to manifest.

Start out by writing a simple one or two page plan.

1. Start with your mission statement, what is your passion and motivation for this company?

2. What do you want it to look like in one year?

3. What do you want it to look like in five years?

4. What are you selling?

5. What are your goals?

a. Is it a service that you can put on tape?

b. Can you write a how to book?

c. Are there complimentary products that can be sold with the service; tools that enhance it?

d. What types of workshops or classes can you make available?

7. How are you going to sell or provide your service or products?

The Top Five Herbs for Depression and Anxiety

I have listed the top five herbs for depression and anxiety I discovered while studying with Deepak Chopra to become a “Perfect Health Instructor”. According to Ayurveda, the ancient Indian medical system; meaning science of life, these herbs deliver amazing benefits.

It is incredible the knowledge I have acquired in my studies with David and Deepak about herbs and natural health alternatives. I promised you many gifts through out this site and this list is only one of my many gifts to you.

You can purchase these herbs for depression and anxiety at any health or vitamin store. Make sure to check with your Doctor or health care provider first.

Please do not use any of these herbs as a substitute for Meditation, eating healthy, regular exercise and making healthy choices.

Herbs for Depression and Anxiety

1. Valerian Root

This herb is one the best known for calming and quieting an over active mind. Although most studies have focused on its sleeping inducing effects, it also has value in treating muscle spasms and hypertension.

There have been further studies that show Valerian may have stress-neutralizing effects that can diminish stress ulcers and reduce spasms in the digestive track. It is not suggested that the use of valerian be used if you have chronic sleeping problems. You would want to look at what is going on in your life in these instances and not rely on any type of substance for a continued period of time.

*Herbs for depression and anxiety are for extreme situations when you really need to sleep or you are going through a situational problem.

2. Hops

This herb also promotes relaxation. You can place a sash filled with Hops under your pillow for relaxing aroma therapy. Hops can also be taken in tea to help quite a restless mind.

3. Kava Kava

Kava creates a mildly calming euphoric state and appears to avoid the side effects of the many tranquilizing medications. Scientific studies are confirming the beneficial effects of kava in treating anxiety and insomnia. Rare side effects may occur. For short term use this herb has been shown to be effective in reducing nervousness without the impairment that usually comes with tranquilizing drugs.

As with any of these this is not the solution to anxiety. It is meant to help as a healthy alternative to drugs. If you are having problems with nervousness on a regular basis it is recommended that you look at the problem and not use any type of herbs for depression and anxiety as the main solution.

4. Gotu Kola

This herb is good if irritability or anger is creating distress. It has a purifying and balancing influence. It has been recommended when people are having trouble concentrating. When combined with meditation Gota kola can reduce anxiety and improve mental clarity.

You can also use this for headaches or recovering from an illness or surgery. It can be taken as nose drops to calm an agitated mind. Has been used in detox. of alcohol or caffeine. Can also be taken in tea with honey.

Additional benefits of Gota kola has antibiotic and would healing properties.

5. Guggulu

Guggulu is one of Ayurvedas most purifying herbs. It cleans unhealthy tissues, increases white blood cell count, and rejuvenates the skin. This is great for people recovering from serious illness or people who have recently stopped using recreational drugs or alcohol. It is know for its detoxifying properties.

Additionally Guggula has been used for years in the treatment of obesity. It is believed to stimulate the digestion of stored toxins. Other benefits are its ability to reduce inflammation and its cholesterol lowering activity.

Enjoy these herbs and the wonderful natural benefits that are derived from them!

I wish for you peace, tranquility and love. If you are having problems in these areas and feel you may need to seek medical help it is always a great idea to follow your intuition.
