What is New and Hot This Past Week

Hi everyone!

The summer is over and it’s the best time of the year for me. I love October. Not only is this my birthday month but the weather is perfect. I just love the cool breeze in the air and the smell of autumn.

It’s that time again when everyone should be looking back over your year to see where you are and if you're on track with your life and business.

I’m doing the same thing. First on my to do list is: Get my last class of my sell out series Shoot for the Stars out on Mp3. Everyone is asking where it is. You can look for that next week.

Marketing Tip for your business

You may be on a social networking site but do you know how to use it? I can’t tell you how many clients I get from Face Book, Twitter and Self Growth.com. Social networking really does get your name out there. As of this date I have over 22,000 connections on these networks.

The secret is how to use these sites so you do get business. I see so many people start with twitter and then stop after a week or so. I will share this, it takes more than a week to build relationships.

Look at it this way, when you go out to networking groups or social events, you talk with people and they get to know you. You may exchange phone numbers and talk on the phone or run into them again. Then they call you to do business. It works the same way on the internet. Let people get to know how you are and what you’re about.

Don’t be afraid to talk to people you don’t know. Let your opinion be known, it is after all yours and that is unique.

Most of all on these networking sites. Mix it up. Too much of anything becomes boring and predicable. Don’t talk all business all of the time. For more of my tips on how to effectively use Twitter to network see my Top Five Twitter Tips
