My Positive Thinking Secrets That Work like Magic!

Is the negative talk about the economy getting you down? I felt compelled to bring up what seems to be an overwhelming need for positive thinking to come back into fashion. I feel we are having an emergency here and someone has to stop the madness.

I have heard so many people tell me one story after another about the economy and how bad it is. My response to that is, “I’m not feeling that way.”

Right away the most common reply to that statement is, “I am serious I have proof. This is real.” I am sure it is but and I have to say BUT here, if you continue to spread that message of doom and gloom then it will continue to get worse and not better.

How do you think our economy gets into a down slide? Someone somewhere has to start talking about how bad it is going to be and then they tell someone else and so and so until they make it true. These things get spread though the news, articles and yes by word of mouth. That kind of fear is contagious, it spreads like a virus.

I want you to take a moment and think about this if we have the power to make things bad then we also have the same power to make things good. It can’t work any other way. The opposite of negative thinking is positive thinking.

One of the first things I tell people in any situation when they start to tell me a doomsday side of life is what is the opposite of what you just said?

If you stop for a moment and think about that, there is a secret here that is being revealed. “What is the opposite of your fear or worry?”

For example, if you are complaining that no one is buying and your business is on a down slide because of all the fear that is out there, the opposite would be you have more then enough clients and people will always buy from you because what you offer is something of value that they need.

Now if you are operating from that positive place how does that affect your life as opposed to the negative way of thinking?

What you just did there is change your perspective to positive thinking. Now when you do business and go out into the world you are creating a positive energy and that feeling and attitude will spread to other people as well.

People in general want to be around other people that are happy and feel good about themselves and life. Remember that the next time you are talking about how bad it is out there and wondering why it affects some people and not others.

At this point take a minute and think back; to what it is you are spreading around to all the people you know and come in contact with. Are you telling them all the gloom you read in the paper or heard on the news? If so this is where you want to turn that around and start doing the opposite…

This story I am about to tell you has been a perfect example of positive thinking. My mother who is a very successful top rated real estate agent and has been for the past thirty years is not suffering in this economy in the least and she lives in Manhattan beach CA. The real estate market there is not exactly booming right now but yet she is still selling and listing and making the big bucks.

I am going to share with you one of the biggest secrets out there to positive thinking, what my mother told me years ago about the real estate market, which by the way applies to anything.

She said, “No matter what happens with the market I will always make money, always.” I looked at her in amazement and asked, “Why is that?” Very seriously she said, “People will always have to sell real estate and their will always be people to buy it and there is no reason why they won’t do it through me.” Now that is positive thinking.

I never ever forgot that, she showed me that when you believe something and you know what you’re doing you will always do well no matter what is going on with the economy. I have watched her over the last thirty years and she was right she has always been a top producer. It’s the people who panic and start buying into all the negativity and bad news that suffer.

I try not to watch the news for that very reason so when I do hear people or a client tell me something that is going on today with this economy that is negative I am curious, I think that is certainly not the experience I am having.

What I do for a living helping other people create successful business while making more money will never go out of style. There will never be a lack of people wanting to make more money therefore I will always have more then enough business in any economy.

You too want to adopt that kind of attitude and positive thinking. It is really that simple. Do you want to be apart of the problem or someone who delivers the solution?

My secret here is not only change your perspective from lack to abundance but when someone tries to tell you different let them know that there will always be people that will need your service or product and there is no reason why they won’t buy it from you! Share with them that spreading bad news is not the solution it is only contributing to the problem.
