Searching for Spiritual Awareness ...It's Not What I Thought It Would Be

Why would you want to discover spiritual awareness?

Just imagine that everything is already prefect exactly the way it is. Can you see it? What if I told you that you will be able to see that and feel it?

Freedom…?

Peace…?

Happiness...?

That feeling that everything and everyone is apart of you. Knowing that you not only belong here but you are an important part of the Universe. That is freedom and with freedom comes happiness and peace of mind.

In my search for truth, I found a perfect Universe. How awesome is that? Imagine a Universe that doesn’t need fixed.

As you read about my path of discovering spiritual awareness, it will become clearer and clearer how you too can start to look at the world in a completely different way,in a miraculous and inspiring way.

You have the power right now to have the kind of life you have been wishing you had along. What I found out is mind blowing.

It is life changing ...

It doesn't matter how you got to this page but thank god you did because it is time you heard this.

My breakthrough came with the uncovering of all the junk I had layered on top of my spirit. Once I realized that I wasn’t searching for anything that I didn’t already have, I began to enjoy the process, always reminding myself it is the journey where growth takes place not the destination.

Uncovering the Layers Where the Spiritual Awareness is Buried

I have found that once I get to the destination yet again there are more layers to uncover and higher places to explore. The journey will always continue on some level.

If I were trying to arrive I would surely be disappointed. In my search for spiritual awareness I have had a few great teachers that changed my life forever.

One of those teachers is Deepak Chopra. I had the pleasure and privilege to study with him for over a year to become a “Perfect Health Instructor.” Now that was a life changing experience.

That time for me was really special. I took a year to just focus on the bigger picture here and how I fit into that. It was a search for my life purpose but at the time I didn't know that was what I was searching for. I just knew there was something I had to discover if I wanted to feel complete.

I took my studies very seriously. Everyday I would study, meditate and put into practice one of the seven spiritual laws of success from Deepak's book, "The seven spiritual laws of success." Of all the exercises that we had to learn the one that had the most profound effect on me was non judgment.

Have you ever tried to spend one full day not judging anyone or anything, especially yourself? This is more of a challenge then you may realize.

If you are like me you don't even know your judging things, situations, people and worst of all yourself. Just the fact that I discovered this had a drastic effect on me for the better.

When I first started this practice, I noticed how easily my mind/ego wanted to tell me how I wasn’t doing the exercise right. Right or wrong is a judgment. There I was judging myself about the judgment exercise.

I had to define what judgment meant so I could be sure that I was doing the exercise correctly.

Then I learned how sitting in judgment of anything can and will stop you from experiencing it fully.

Having no judgment means you are aware but not determining if something is good or bad right or wrong. It just is. I found that practicing this on a daily basis brought me to a deeper spiritual awareness of how my mind closes off ideas based on judgment.

When that starts to happen I am now closed, I'm not teachable. In practicing non judgment my acceptance for myself and others grew to a proportion that I had never experienced before.

First I started with just twenty four hours then went to two days then three and so on. How I did that was, when ever I started to judge myself or someone else I would say to myself, “No Judgment” reminding myself to stay open and loving.

After a few days I felt such a powerful shift in my perception. I was open and allowing of everything. This didn’t mean that I participated in everything I witnessed I just didn’t judge it. But now I had a choice. Before I had already made up my mind so to speak.

I allowed it to be the way it was. Who am I to stop or change someone else’s path, no matter where that path is leading them it is there for a purpose. That purpose is either happiness or it leads us to what we need to look at in order to be happy.

No matter where you are in your spiritual journey stopping to take on a new idea or concept that will open you up to a brighter perspective is the way I found enlightenment.

I discovered there is no get quick spirituality.

It doesn’t come from reading a book, listening to a speaker or watching a movie. The book, speaker or movie is the vehicle that carries the message but we have to get into action and on a daily basis start to practice these different concepts that is how the change occurs is through experience.

The Universe Has an Invitation You to Change Your Life Today

I invite you to try the experiment with non-judgment today. Really notice how many times you want to judge another persons decisions or lifestyle. Notice how you judge your self if you don’t respond or do something the way your inner critic thinks your should.

Once you are aware then put into action the non-judgment. Say to yourself, NO JUDGMENT, and with that let it be. Practice this, don’t worry about doing it perfectly just practice.

If you incorporate life changing practices similar to this one every day your spiritual awareness will heighten to a place where you don't have to worry about the normal everyday fears and concerns… it is truly amazing what I have gained from implementing this and other life altering actions into my life every day.
