Hi Lisa! Great question, I am sure other people may have the same concern. I believe that we are all apart of God and that God and the Universe works through us.
Have you ever had the experience when dealing with a person that you felt like God sent them or the Universe sent them? They just happen to be there at the right time with the right solution?
For me when I help people I feel it is the divine spirit working through me to get the message to the person. When I get out of the way, meaning my ego, I know what comes out of my mouth or is written on paper is not coming from me but coming from a higher source.
With that said you would have to take each situation individually and go with your inner guidance system to tell you if the person you are going to for help is coming from a higher place.
When in doubt pass.
