Thinking Outside the Box... by: Dawn Abraham
Bane,
Thank you for this great question. There are many people who feel the same way. What I hear from you is that you are not following your heart. You are not living your passion in life. Instead you are settling which so many of us do.
Your motivation is low because you are not inspired to when you get up every day and live a life that includes technical data all day long. It would be difficult for anyone to accomplish their goals under those circumstances.
I suggest that you read my article how to find your life purpose. That article guides you through a process that I recommend for you. It will help you to find out what you do want to do, what is exciting to you. When you are living your passion and purpose you will notice the difference in your ability to follow through.
When you find your purpose the motivation is natural. Certainly you can make money doing something other than a technical engineer. You never know how you may be able to combine what really motivates you with all of the training you currently have.
You want to think outside the box here, just because you have spent time and money on training does not mean that you can not go in another direction or find something else that you love where you can use that training to your advantage combining both. The sky is the limit. This is a great problem to have. You have lots of choices here.
If you feel you need additional help with finding your life purpose and getting on a success path set up a Life Coaching session with me. I can get you on track in only a few sessions.
I wish for you all the success and happiness the Universe has to offer.
