The Breath of Fire is amazing for your health

Hi Janet!

Great question! First I want to say how happy I am to hear that you like my free meditations. Hearing that reinforces how important it is that I continue to offer them to everyone for free.

The breath of fire is good for so many reasons. One of the first things the breath of fire does is purifies your blood. When you do this type of breathing it gives your circulation a good cleansing.

Another wonderful benefit is the endorphin release. People talk about runners high that comes from the same release of natural chemicals in the brain that the breath of fire does. When we have a good amount of happy endorphins floating around in our body we are in a much better mood and able to handle whatever comes our way with a bit more ease.

If done properly the breath of fire can actually help you loose inches from your waist. Yes it's true it can be a bit of a weight loss technique. The reason being you are pulling in the mid section of the abdomen, and this uses muscles that if worked regularly give you a much smaller waist line. You have to do this everyday to see these results but hey... it's fun and worth it.

I hope this gives you some great reasons to include the breath of fire in your daily routine. You know I do. :-D

The best way to learn how to do the breath of fire is through a CD or DVD. My recommendation is: Kundalini Yoga for Beginners & Beyond They really make it easy and simple. Plus you get so much more on their DVD. It's one of my favorite's.
