I need help with a child I'm in charge of...

I am a registered childminder. One of my charges has a disciplinary problem with a new head teacher, ie no respect for her authority.

What I really wish for is to come up with a solution that leaves both parties satisfied.

This is not going to be easy. 9 year old is exceptionally, bright, artistic and constructive. But has witnessed his Mum being beaten up by his father 5 years ago. They have since divorced.

I do not think I can just wave a magic wand and every thing will be alright. But, if there is a little help out there I would love some of it.
