Belive it or not there are entire conferences on orbs and one just happened to be in Palm Springs last week to see some of it. The pictures and theories some people had were something else. They are appearing more and more. The people that put on the coference are at: www.greatmystery.org I believe theres another one coming up- in Glastonbury England though!

It is well known in the paranormal community that orbs usualy represent entities which frequent spiritually active (haunted-hate the cliche) places. Many other tests can be performed to authenticate this. The orb color has to do with the type of energy given by the spirits.

My experience with orbs is limited to how and why they show up in pictures. It is a possibility that what you saw wasn't an Orb.
Either way I don't think your crazy. Having not seen it myself it is hard to say what that is.
I will share that I have seen many types of unexplained objects that appear to be almost ghost like. I have seen things that I now know were spirits.
I used to be afraid of the things I saw but after investigating the paranormal, I began to really understand what was happening to me and why I would see and feel these different types of entities.
I found that since we are all energy and mostly spirit that seeing or feeling other spirits is not that strange. If you raise your energy and awareness to the same level that spirits are vibrating at you will experience them.
Depending on how open you are to these types of things has a lot to do with your experience. More people then you know see and feel unusual energy and spirits and don't realize that is what is happening.
You could have very well been having one of those experiences. It is very exciting when I have these experiences, now that I realize spirits can't hurt you.
I would love to hear from other people on this subject to get your experience with Orbs and or other types of unexplained occurrences.
