Hi! Don't you just love how life and the Universe have a way to send you right where you need to be to hear the message? I am speaking about how you found me and my web site, the references to Deepak Chopra and the fact I studied with him lead you here, which is no accident. Everything happens for a reason, and its great sign that you are able to listen to your intuition and follow it.
Congratulations on having 27 days sober! That is fantastic. Nora the fact that you are now sober means you absolutely can have every one of the dreams and wishes you mentioned.
I hope you are going to AA and there you are taking advantage of all the support and help that program has to offer.
Go to the meetings, share at the meetings get a sponsor and most of all Nora work the twelve steps. Those steps are a guide back to life and to loving yourself. Find people in the rooms of AA that have what you want. Stick with the winners and watch what they do, they will lovingly guide you down the path to freedom which is what you are looking for.
I highly recommend Deepak's book:The Book of Secrets. It changed my life and continues to be a guide of light for me to this day.

The most important thing Nora is get honest. Get honest with yourself and get honest with others. Be patient and stay in the now. No matter what do not give up before the miracle! Your life is now on the way to a road filled with freedom, miracles and love.
The place to start is with you. When you look at and deal with why you drank release it and learn some new coping skills all your other problems will take care of themselves. Because all of that is a result of not dealing with the fear, the demons or what ever you want to call it. Not looking at what the problem is. The problem is never the drugs or alcohol that is the symptom.
